Chair Kiefer discussed a possible mixed-income development. <br />City Administrator Norman asked if the committee was interested in sending out a <br />Request for Proposals (RFP) on the site; the consensus was yes. Chair Kiefer said the <br />committee needs to think about the group's vision; he hoped the committee could <br />pursue some unique projects. Consensus of the group was to brainstorm development <br />ideas for the three city-owned properties for the next meeting, and staff'was directed - <br />to bring a sample RFP. <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman asked about the group's request for information On park <br />development on the property west of Sunfish Lake. Consensus of the group was that <br />the request was not staff direction. <br /> <br />Approve request for joint Anoka County/City exploration of senior housing <br />p roj ect. Community Development Intern Geisler reviewed the County's interest in <br />updating a 1998 senior housing needs study for the City of Ramsey, in anticipation of <br />a new senior housing project possibly in the Town Center or near the commercial <br />node at Highway 47 and 167thAve NW. Motion by Chair Kiefer to authorize the draft <br />letter approving joint Anoka County/City exploration of a senior housing project, <br />Dick Krueger seconded, motion passed. <br /> <br />Review information on tax revenue generated by different types of residential <br />development. Chair Kiefer asked that Case #3 be brought back at the next meeting. <br /> <br />Motion by Mary Jo Olson to adjourn the meeting, Dick Krueger seconded, motion <br />passed. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned. <br /> <br /> <br />
