Menkveld Property The EDA directed staff to begin finding a funding source that could be used to acquire the Menkveld site off of Armstrong Boulevard during the March 7, 2002 EDA meeting. The site was to be held by the city to insure that development in and near the Town Center Concept Area was held to acceptable standards. Staff began its search for funds but in that period another buyer surfaced and purchased the property. Sunfish Gateway Industrial Park Denny Sharp has submitted a preliminary plat for the development of Sunfish Gateway Industrial Park. The preliminary plat is proposing to subdivide property located west of Sunfish Lake Blvd. and north of McKinley Street into four Industrial lots. Lot 1 and Lot 2 will encompass the newly constructed Sunfish Gateway Plaza Phase I and II. Lot 3 is proposing to be developed by T.J. and Associates Printing company. The user for Lot 4 has not been determined as this point. The Planning Commission will be reviewing the preliminary plat and site plan on June 6, 2002. Staff anticipates that the City Council will review the proposals on June 25, 2002. Darkenwald: The City Council approved the industrial subdivision of West Ramsey Industrial Park on March 26, 2002. On March 26, 2002 the City Council also approved a site plan for Minndak, who, is proposing to locate in the industrial park. Recent residential developments: Attached to this case is a spreadsheet outlining residential developments in the City of Ramsey. The City is currently in the process of reviewing several single family and multi-family residential developments.
