A lease, rent, or <br />lease-to-buy solution will be negotiated with Kenko in the future. <br /> <br />Menkveld Property <br /> <br />The EDA directed staff to begin finding a funding source that could be used to acquire the <br />Menkveld site off of Armstrong Boulevard during the March 7, 2002 EDA meeting. The site <br />was to be held by the city to insure that development in and near the Town Center Concept Area <br />was held to acceptable standards. Staff began its search for funds but in that period another <br />buyer surfaced and purchased the property. <br /> <br />Sunfish Gateway Industrial Park <br /> <br />Denny Sharp has submitted a preliminary plat for the development of Sunfish Gateway Industrial <br />Park. The preliminary plat is proposing to subdivide property located west of Sunfish Lake <br />Blvd. and north of McKinley Street into four Industrial lots. Lot 1 and Lot 2 will encompass the <br />newly constructed Sunfish Gateway Plaza Phase I and II. Lot 3 is proposing to be developed by <br />T.J. and Associates Printing company. The user for Lot 4 has not been determined as this point. <br />The Planning Commission will be reviewing the preliminary plat and site plan on June 6, 2002. <br />Staff anticipates that the City Council will review the proposals on June 25, 2002. <br /> <br />Darkenwald: <br /> <br />The City Council approved the industrial subdivision of West Ramsey Industrial Park on March <br />26, 2002. On March 26, 2002 the City Council also approved a site plan for Minndak, who, is <br />proposing to locate in the industrial park. <br /> <br />Recent residential developments: <br /> <br />Attached to this case is a spreadsheet outlining residential developments in the City of Ramsey. <br />The City is currently in the process of reviewing several single family and multi-family <br />residential developments.
