The creation of <br />Business Park 95, Anoka Energy Park <br />and Gateway North Industrial ParkNo. 5 <br />has enabled businesses to relocate and <br />expand'in the City of Ramsey. The City <br />has vigorously supported new develop- <br />ment in these areas using Staff expertise <br />along with economic development tools. <br />that are currently available. The City will <br />continue to use these tools when future <br />projects warrant assistance. <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey has been proud to <br />welcome businesses, including but not <br />limited to, Connexus EnerD', Vision- <br />Ease Lens, Anderson-Dahlen, Command <br />Corporation, Life Fitness and Ace Solid <br />Waste. The City hopes that the relation- <br />ships that were formed upon the busi- <br />nesses' decision to locate in Ramsey will <br />continue to be strong and grow as the <br />needs of the business grow. The cma- <br />tion of Sunfish Business Park in 2002 is <br />an excellent example of how the City <br />continues to make industrial land avail- <br />able to future or expanding businesses. <br /> <br />NUTS AND BOLTS CORNER <br /> <br />The City looks forward to working with <br />your business to satisfy, your develop- <br />ment needs. <br /> <br />In 2002 Sharp and Associates finished <br />construction of a beautiful multi-tenant <br />facility located at the comer of Sanfish <br />Lake Boulevard and McKinley Street. <br />Construction is currently under way to <br />build approximately a 15,000 S.F. sin- <br />gle user building on an adjacent site. <br />The City also saw the opening of an- <br />other multi-tenant building, developed <br />by Tom Sauter, and a 40,000 S.F. <br />building by RIM, General Paper Prod- <br />ucts in the Gateway North Industrial <br />Park No. 5 development. Great Woods <br />Cabinetry has relocated to Ramsey and <br />purchased a multi-tenant building lo- <br />cated in Business Park 95. The City <br />has been involved in assisting these <br />projects with the necessary means to <br />make the projects happen. <br /> <br />company will be the first business to be <br />located in Sunfish Business Park and <br />hopes to begin construction next spring. <br />With land now readily available in the <br />newly created industrial parks, the City <br />expects to be entering into more develop- <br />ment agreements with prospective busi- <br />nesses, possibly your own, to expand or <br />relocate to Ramsey. This seg-ment of the <br />.newsletter, in future publications, will <br />continue to focus on industrial develop- <br />ment and bring you current development <br />news, as well as information in regards to <br />land availability, in the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br /> Currently the City is in the process of <br /> negotiating a development agreement <br /> that will bring a precision machining <br /> company to the City.
