EDC wants good development; P&Z gets shot down by Council <br />in their attempt to get good development. <br /> <br />Commissioner Deemer pointed out that technically that Plants and Things <br />property cannot be sold until a variance is granted to the building violating <br />the setbacks. <br /> <br />Ms. Norris noted that Council has requested P&Z to be present at the September <br />23 council meeting to discuss the Plants and Things case. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Fults and seconded by Chairman Peterson to request that <br />City Council refer the case of Plants and Things to the November 20, 1986 joint <br />EDC/P&Z meeting, at which time Council should be present to address the case. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairmans Peterson and Greenberg, Commissioners <br />Vevea, Fults, Wagner, DeLuca, Ippel, Deemer, LaDue, Zimmerman, Howell and <br />Shumway. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Muller, Kurak, Hardin and <br />Hendriksen. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner LaDue and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to adjourn the <br />joint EDC/PZ meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
