PART II - CODE OF ORDINANCES <br />Chapter 117 - ZONING AND SUBDIVISIONS <br />ARTICLE II. - ZONING <br />DIVISION 8. - SIGNS <br />Subdivision I. - In General <br />(b) Balloons, gas filled figures, streamers, whirling devices and revolving searchlights or any such <br />attention - getting device that is not specifically a sign may be permitted up to four weeks per year, for one <br />week at a time. <br />(Code 1978, § 9.12.05; Ord. No. 10 -11, § 2, 7 -27 -2010) <br />Secs. 117 -466 – Other Temporary Signs <br />(a) Real Estate Signs. One temporary real estate sign constructed of durable materials located on the <br />premises is permitted for sale or lease of building or vacant lot for each street frontage. Real Estate Signs <br />are limited to the following maximum sizes: <br />(1) Residential Districts. Real Estate Signs may not exceed 32 square feet in residentially' <br />zoned districts. <br />(2) Commercial and Employment Districts. Real Estate Signs may not exceed 64 square feet <br />in commercially or employment zoned districts. Real Estate Signs erected on walls of <br />buildings may not exceed 15% of the front facade of said structure. <br />(b) Construction Signs. One temporary construction sign constructed of durable materials located on <br />the premises is permitted on each street frontage of a development under construction. <br />Secs. 117 -467 – Unified Development Signs <br />(a) General provisions. A unified development is a development that consists of multiple parcels of <br />similar zoning district and bound by major roadways consisting of arterial or collector designation or <br />higher.
