Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #03-11-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CLIMB, INC. APPLICATION FOR A PREMISE PERMIT <br />FOR LAWFUL GAMBLING AT DIAMONDS SPORTS BAR IN RAMSEY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Climb, Inc., has applied for a premise permit for gambling at Diamonds <br />Sports Bar, 7550 Highway 10, Ramsey; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Climb, Inc. has requested Council waive the 30~day notice provision; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board Division of the Department of Gaming <br />requires the City of Ramsey adopt a resolution specifically approving or denying the application. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the premise permit application for Climb, <br /> Inc. to operate lawful gambling at Diamonds Sports Bar, 7550 Highway 10, Ramsey. <br /> <br />2) That the Ramsey City Council agrees to waive the 30-day notice provision. <br /> <br /> 3) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the City Administrator or Finance <br /> Officer to sign the application and any other documents required by the Minnesota <br /> Gambling Control Board. <br /> <br />Councilmember, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 10th day of November, 2003. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
