Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #12-12-XXX <br />RESOLUTION FOR AGREEMENT TO STATE TRANSPORTATION FUND LOCAL ROAD <br />IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM, ACCOUNT 262, SAP 199-104-010 GRANT TERMS AND <br />CONDITIONS <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has applied to the Commissioner of Transportation for <br />a grant from the Minnesota State Transportation Fund for construction of Local Road <br />Improvement Project No. SAP 199-104-010; and <br />WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Transportation has given notice that funding for this <br />local road improvement project is available; and <br />WHEREAS, the amount of the grant has been determined to be $500,000.00. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />That the City of Ramsey does hereby agree to the terms and conditions of the grant consistent <br />with Minnesota Statues, Section 174.52 and will pay any additional amount by which the cost <br />exceeds the estimate, and will return to the Minnesota State Transportation Fund any amount <br />appropriated for the road project, but not required. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 11t1i day of December 2012. <br />ATTEST: <br />City Clerk <br />Mayor <br />Resolution #12-12-XXX <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />
