Resolution id2012-154 dated October 23, 2012, classifying certain forfeit lands in Anoka County, <br />B. A classification and sale approval form listing the lands classified in Resolution fd2012-154 that lie within your <br />jurisdiction, which is to be Rned, sealed and returned to the countv_alon_R with a copy of the motion or resolution <br />of your eovernine body aoorovine the classification and sale. <br />C. A form for the forfeit parcels shown on the list of forfeit lands in your jurisdiction to help us analyze and appraise <br />the parcel. We ask that you complete and return these forms to us. <br />D. A verification of special assessments form that is to be completed, signed, sealed and returned to the county. <br />Chapter 282,01, Subdivision 1, of the Minnesota Statutes requires that the town board or governing body of a municipality <br />must approve the classification and sale of forfeit parcels that lie within their jurisdiction. It disapproval of any parcel is not <br />made within 60 days from the date of this letter, it is deemed that the town board or governing body has approved the <br />classification and sale. <br />lithe town board or governing body desires to acquire any parcel lying within the boundaries of the municipality, it shall, <br />within 60 days of the request for classification and sale approval, file a written application with the county board to withhold <br />the parcel from sale. The county board will then withhold the parcel from sale for six months. <br />lithe town board or governing body fails to acquire the property within the withholding period, the county may offer it for <br />sale upon expiration of the withholding period. <br />A municipality or township will have to pay maintenance costs incurred by the county (if any) during the six months the <br />property is withheld from public sale, and lithe parcel is not nffcrciI liar public sale aver the six month period. <br />All parcels on the list are still within the repurchase period, If you desire to acquire any parcels still within the repurchase <br />period, you can file an application which can be acted upon at the appropriate time, assuming the county board does not <br />allow repurchase of the parcel. <br />Affirmative Action / Equal Opportunity Employer <br />
