PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a public hearing on <br />Tuesday, June 3, 1986 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., <br />Ramsey, Minnesota regarding Mr. Jurgen Zurnieden's request for a conditional <br />use permit to operate a yard maintenance business from his home. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mr. Kenneth Peterson, Chairman <br />Mr. Terry Hendrickson <br />Mr. Charles LaDue <br />Mr. Ben Deemer <br />Mr. Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Community Development Director Anne Norris <br /> <br />Mr. Roy Shumway <br />Mr. Jim Howell <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairman Peterson called the public hearing to order at 7:33 p.m. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING BUSINESS <br /> <br />Mr. Zurnieden was present and stated that there will be no work carried on at <br />his home. He needs a permit from the City in order to be eligible for <br />insurance. The yard maintenance business would be a way for his son to earn <br />money over the summer. 0nly the yard maintenance equipment, and no heavy <br />equipment, will be stored at the home. <br /> <br />Stuart Anderson - 7701 171st Avenue NW - Stated he has no objection to Mr. <br />Zurnieden's business as long as it does not create more traffice in the <br />neighborhood. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />The public hearing adjourned at 7:35 p.m. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />Sylvia Frol ik <br />Secretary <br /> <br />Anne Norris <br />Community Development Director <br /> <br />Page 1 of 1 <br /> <br /> <br />
