Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Wise, Backous, Elvig, McGlone, <br />Strommen, and Tossey. Voting No: None. <br />The City Council meeting moved into a closed session at 7:24 p.m. <br />The City Council reconvened in open session at 7:52 p.m. <br />City Attorney Goodrich stated the Council held discussion on the described litigation. No <br />specific conclusion was reached and it is expected that in the future the Council will be holding <br />additional closed meetings on this matter. <br />7.05: Consider Entering into a Purchase Agreement for the Property Located at 8901 — <br />146 Avenue NW, Minnesota, owned by USCO Corp. (Portions may be closed to the <br />public) <br />City Attorney Goodrich explained that the City negotiated a purchase price for 8901 — 146 <br />Avenue NW and has now received a counter offer. He advised that under Minnesota Statutes, <br />Section 13D.05, Subd.3(c), the meeting can move into closed session to discuss confidential or <br />non - public appraisal data and acquisition negotiations. He indicated closed session discussion <br />will relate to property acquisitions of the USCO Corp. site, 8901 — 146 Avenue NW, for the <br />Sunwood Drive/Realignment Project. The closed session will be tape recorded and that tape will <br />be maintained for a period of eight years. <br />Councilmember Wise recused himself due to a potential conflict of interest and left the Council <br />Chambers at 7:54 p.m. <br />Motion by Councilmember Tossey, seconded by Councilmember Backous, to move to closed <br />session to discuss acquisition negotiations. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Tossey, Backous, Elvig, <br />McGlone, and Strommen. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Wise. <br />The . City Council meeting moved into a closed session at 7:54 p.m. The City Council <br />reconvened in open session at 8:23 p.m. <br />City Attorney Goodrich stated the Council held discussion and no final decision was reached <br />except to direct staff to negotiate a final offer to purchase the real property located at 8901 — <br />146 Avenue NW and lease back terms. <br />City Council / November 27, 2012 <br />Page 7 of 8 <br />
