City of Ramsey

15153 NOWTHEN BOULEVARD N.W., RAMSEY, MINNESOTA 55303 · (612) 427-1410

January 9, 1986

Property Owner
14600 Nowthen Boulevard N.W.
Ramsey, MN 55303

Dear Property Owner:

Enclosed is a notice of public hearing on proposed amendments to
and recodification of the City's zoning ordinance as recommended
by the Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission. The hearing will
be at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 21, 1986 at the Ramsey
Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W.

The amendments proposed by the Planning Commission include
rezoning certain areas in the City. This proposed rezoning would
rezone the parcel identified by Property Identification Number
25-32-25-23-0006. ~his parcel is proposed to be rezoned from the
existing UMB-2 Urban Multiple and Business excluding eating
establishments and drive-in banks (which allows for offices and
personal type businesses) to R-3 Residential (which allows for
multiple residential development). If this rezoning is adopted,
any conditional use permits and variances in effect presently
would continue to be in effect. In addition, all property owners
in the City have the option of applying for a planned unit'
development zoning for developments. The planned unit
develounent zoning allows for flexibility in the density allowed
and for a variety of uses to be included in the develounent.

Please feel free to call me if you have any questions or comments
on this matter. ~hank you for your consideration.

Yours truly,

CITY OF RAMSEY

Encl:
