CC Regular Session <br />Meeting Date: 01/08/2013 <br />By: Jo Thieling, Administrative Services <br />Information <br />Title: <br />2013 Council Organization <br />7. 1. <br />Background: <br />Each year, Council is asked to adopt several resolutions which allow the City to conduct Committee business, <br />banking business, etc. <br />Enclosed for your information are the following: <br />a) Letter from Anoka County Union and also from the Anoka County Record each requesting they be designated as <br />the City's official newspaper for the year 2013. <br />b) Proposed Resolution for 2013 Council Organization <br />c) Proposed Resolution designating financial institutions as official depositories of City funds for 2013 <br />d) Proposed Resolution designating Bank of the West as official financial institution for the City of Ramsey <br />banking services for the year 2013 <br />d) Proposed Resolution authorizing signatures for financial transactions <br />Recommendation: <br />Staff recommends that Council adopt the resolutions presented for 2013 business. <br />Funding Source: <br />No funding required. <br />Council Action: <br />Motion to adopt Resolution #13-01-009 for 2013 Council organization. <br />- and - <br />Motion to adopt Resolution #13-01-003 designating financial institutions as official depositories of City funds for <br />2013. <br />- and - <br />Motion to adopt Resolution #13-01-005 designating Bank of the West as official financial institution for the City of <br />Ramsey banking services for the year 2013. <br />- and - <br />Motion to adopt Resolution #13-01-004 authorizing signatures for financial transactions. <br />Attachments <br />Bid Letter Anoka County Union <br />Info Anoka County Union <br />Bid Letter and Info Anoka County Record <br />#13-01-009 Organization Resolution <br />
