Is your community a Tree City USA? ❑No ❑✓ Yes <br />Project Title: Majesty of the Commons <br />Summary Statement —Please give a 2-3 sentence summary of your overall project. <br />Funds will be used to forest North Commons, a park within a transit and pedestrian oriented, master -planned <br />development, which is presently unimproved. The project will satisfy not only a desire of adjacent residents and <br />City Council, but also an action item on the City's Environmental Policy Board, which is to establish a 'mini <br />arboretum' to highlight trees that perform well in sandy soils.
