HRA Special Session <br />Date: 01/18/2011 <br />By: Heidi Nelson <br />Administrative Services <br />Information <br />Title: <br />Update on New COR Signs <br />Item #: 6. 3. <br />Background: <br />The Development Management Team would like to provide an update to the HRA regarding the progress on the <br />new signs for The COR at Ramsey. Attached to this document are the current renderings for both the new <br />monument sign on US 10 and the rehab pylons on Ramsey and Armstrong Boulevards. <br />Notification: <br />No notification is required. <br />Observations: <br />Images of the new monument and rehab pylons are attached for HRA information. <br />Recommendation: <br />No action is required, the DM Team will discuss the budget for this project and options for staying within the <br />approved amount. <br />Funding Source: <br />Funding for this project was approved as part of the 2010 HRA budget and levy in the amount of $105,000. As <br />final design of the signs has proceeded, the cost for each of the signs has shifted slightly, thus the entire project as <br />anticipated in roughly $7,000 over budget, however, staff has recommendations regarding reductions to landscaping <br />and lighting that could be made to keep the overall project within the $105,000 budget. Staff will discuss those <br />options with the HRA during the meeting for discussion. <br />Council Action: <br />HRA Action: <br />No action required.
