Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION # <br />CONSIDER A RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT <br />A PAID -ON -CALL FIREFIGHTER'S RESIGNATION <br />WHEREAS, on January 9, 2013, staff received a letter of resignation from a station #2 <br />Paid -on -call Firefighter, Mr. Cory Helgoe; and <br />WHEREAS, the Fire Chief is not requesting to fill this position until the next regular <br />Firefighter recruitment. <br />WHEREAS, there is no funding required to accept Mr. Helgoe's resignation. . <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, <br />Motions to approve resolution # 13-01-XXX, confirming the recommendation of the <br />Personnel Committee, to accept Mr. Cory Helgoe's resignation and to recruit for this <br />position upon the next regular recruitment. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council Member, <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 29th day of January 2013. <br />
