Mayor Reimann requested that all City Councilmembers be prepared to submit nominations for <br />appointments to the Charter Commission at the August 28, 1990 City Council meeting. <br /> <br />Case #22: Reschedule First City Council Meeting in September <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley noted that the first City Council meeting in September is scheduled for Tuesday, <br />September 11, 1990 which is Primary Election Day and recommended that City Council reschedule <br />their meeting. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cich and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to reschedule the first <br />regular City Council meeting in September to Monday, September 10, 1990 at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Cich, DeLuca, Pearson and <br />Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #26: Bills for Approval <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to adopt Resolution <br />4/90-08-268 approving accounts payable transactions for the period July 14, 1990 through August <br />3, 1990 in the amount of $402,231.06. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Pearson, DeLuca, Cich and <br />Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #23: Elk River Mutual Aid Agreement <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley reported that a reciprocal agreement was submitted to and approved by Elk River for <br />fire assistance. Mr. Hartley stated that basically the agreement indicates that Ramsey assistance to <br />Elk River Fire Department and Elk River Fire Department assistance to Ramsey from the period <br />September 1, 1990 to December 31, 1990 will be administered at $300.00 per fire call and as of <br />January 1, 1991, there will be no charge to either party for fire assistance. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cich and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to approve the Elk <br />River Mutual Aid Agreement for Fire Assistance with the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Cich, DeLuca, Pearson and <br />Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #25: Schedule Closed Executive Session <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley requested that City Council schedule a closed executive session to review the status of <br />Holmberg vs. Ramsey litigation, Ramsey vs. Holmberg litigation, and upcoming labor <br />negotiations. <br />City Council scheduled a closed executive session for Tuesday, August 28, 1990 at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />A) Northern Mayor's Association: <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann noted that there is a Northern Mayor's Association Board of Director's meeting <br />scheduled for August 22, 1990 in Robbinsdale. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL/AUGUST 14, 1990 <br /> Page 19 of 20 <br /> <br /> <br />
