CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, August 14, 1990 at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember Richard Cich <br />Councilmember Alan Pearson <br />Councilmember Stephen F. DeLuca <br />Councilmember Kenneth Peterson <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator David Hartley <br />City Engineer Steven Jankowski <br />Mefland Otto/Hakanson Anderson Associates <br />Acting Community Development Director Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann called the regular City Council meeting to order at 7:38 p.m. and led in the Pledge <br />of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Ellen Stanley - 5670 - 150th Lane N.W. - stated that the Ramsey Resident Newsletter indicated that <br />street lights would be on this evening's Council agenda and she and some concerned neighbors <br />had requested that the City consider relocating the street light at 14963 Nowthen Boulevard N.W. <br />to approximately 150th and Nowthen Boulevard N.W. <br /> <br />Sylvia Frolik indicated that City Staff has been working with Anoka Electric Cooperative to <br />compile information for Council consideration regarding street lights. It is anticipated that this <br />information will not be available for Council review until one of the Council meetings in <br />September. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley replied that when the issue of street lights is placed on the Council agenda, Ellen <br />Stanley and other residents signing the petition for relocation of the street light at 149th and <br />Nowthen Boulevard N.W. will be notified. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to approve the <br />agenda with the following additions: <br /> <br />Case #23: <br />Case #24: <br />Case #25: <br /> <br />Mutual Aid Agreement with Elk River Fire Department <br />Purchase of Police Squad Cars <br />Schedule a Closed Executive Session <br /> <br />Motion carried.
