Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to adopt Resolution <br />#90-08-290 setting the proposed 1991 General Fund Budget. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmember DeLuca, Peterson, Cich and <br />Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />City Council scheduled Budget Hearings for November 13, 1990 and December 11, 1990 at 7:00 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />Case #11: Proposed Organization of the City of Ramsey <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley noted that the newly proposed organizational chart for the City of Ramsey is contained <br />in the Council agenda. <br /> <br />City Engineer Steven Jankowski referred to the Public Works section and noted that some of the <br />job classifications are not listed as they currently exist and the organizational structure should be <br />revised to have seasonal laborers and one maintenance worker reporting to the Parks and Utilities <br />Coordinator. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cich and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to accept the <br />organizational structure chart with revisions indicated by City Engineer Steven Jankowski. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Cich, Pearson, DeLuca and <br />Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #12: Business Appreciation Day <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley presented a proposed resolution proclaiming September 21, 1990 as Business <br />Development and Appreciation Day. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cich and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to adopt Resolution <br />g90-08-291 Proclaiming September 21, 1990 as Business Development and Appreciation Day. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Cich, Peterson, DeLuca and <br />Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #13: Request from Keep America Beautiful Committee <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley referred to a memo from Project Manager James Gromberg dated August 28, 1990 <br />requesting the purchase of two airline tickets for the National Keep America Beautiful Convention <br />in Washington D.C. The memo explained that the tickets can be purchased at this time for a cost of <br />$160.00 per round trip ticket compared to last year's cost of $210.00. The memo also notes that <br />the budget included funding for two representatives to attend the national convention in <br />Washington, D.C. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cich and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to approve the purchase <br />of two round-trip air fare tickets for the National KAB Convention in Washington, D.C. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
