Further discussion: Councilmember Pearson inquired about a $3,000.00 bill for a compressor. <br />Finance Officer Ashley replied that it was necessary to replace a compressor that was damaged in a <br />recent storm; the City will be submitting an insurance claim for this equipment. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS: <br /> <br />Case #1: Request for Site Plan Approval; case of Nils Sundquist, Mate Punch <br /> and Die Company <br /> <br />Representatives of Mate Punch and Die and their contractor Adolphson Peterson were present <br />requesting site plan approval for an expansion to the existing Mate Punch and Die facility at 6400 <br />Industry Boulevard N.W. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to approve the site <br />plan for Mate Punch and Die contingent upon compliance with items contained in the City <br />Engineer's Review Letter dated August 30, 1990 and the recommendations of the Planning and <br />Zoning Commission on September 4, 1990. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Peterson, Pearson, Cich and <br />DeLuca. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #2: Request for Site Plan Review; Case of Ramsey Investments <br /> <br />Sylvia Frolik reported that Mr. Sharp is requesting tabling this case to allow more time to resolve <br />access to the site. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to table site plan <br />review for Ramsey Investments. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Peterson, Cich and <br />Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #3: ParaBody Site Improvements; Improvement Project g90-30 <br /> <br />Mr. Otto stated that the City received three bids for site improvements at the new ParaBody facility <br />on Sunfish Lake Boulevard. The low bidder was Noble Nursery. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to adopt Resolution <br />#90-09-308 accepting bids for ParaBody, Inc. and awarding the contract to Noble Nursery for <br />such improvements. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Peterson, DeLuca, Cich and <br />Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #4: Introduce Ordinance Reducing WMMI Tipping Fees <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich noted that the proposed ordinance to reduce WMMI tipping fees has been revised <br />somewhat from that which was provided in the City Council agenda. The City Council has been <br />provided with copies of the newly drafted proposed ordinance.
