CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, October 23, 1990 at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Kenneth Peterson <br />Mayor Gary Reimann (arrived at 9:50 p.m.) <br />Mr. A1 Pearson <br />Mr. Stephen F. DeLuca <br />Mr. Richard Cich <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator David Hartley <br />City Engineer Steven Jankowski <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />Finance Officer Sandra Ashley <br />Reporter Kimbefly Knutson <br />Consulting Engineer Merland Otto (arrived at 8:18 p.m.) <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Peterson called the regular City Council meeting to order at 7:35 p.m. and led in the <br />Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Peterson noted that Mayor Reimann will be present later in the meeting. <br /> <br />SWEARING IN OF HORSE CARE COMMISSION <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich administered the oath of office to members of the Horse Care Commission <br />that were present at the meeting. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Peterson noted that Cases #1 and #4 will be discussed later in the meeting as the <br />participants for those Cases are currently not present. Acting Mayor Peterson noted that Case #3, <br />Introduction of Ordinance Regarding Adult Uses, will be deleted from the Agenda and it is <br />proposed to be addressed on a special City Council meeting agenda for October 30, 1990. <br /> <br />Councilmember Pearson stated that he has two issues to be addressed under Mayor and Council <br />Input. They are letters from Mrs. Batson regarding drainage in Sorteberg 6th Addition and <br />volunteer help at Central Park. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley stated that he would like a case added to the Agenda regarding the possibility of a Joint <br />Powers Contract with other communities in Anoka County for mutual aid fn'e protection. <br /> <br />City Council/October 23, 1990 <br /> Page 3 of 18 <br /> <br /> <br />
