CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, November 27, 1990 at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember Richard Cich <br />Councilmember Stephen F. DeLuca <br />Councilmember Alan Pearson <br />Councilmember Kenneth Peterson <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator David Hartley <br />Finance Officer Sandra Ashley <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />City Attorney Bill Goodrich <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann called the regular City Council meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and led in the Pledge <br />of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Lou Hanus, 14640 Nowthen Boulevard, Ramsey - stated he has some land for developing. The <br />west end of this property butts up to a swamp. He had a plat ready to present to City Council but <br />the DNR has since been out to measure the water level and stated that the high water mark is at 858 <br />and the 100 year high water mark is 857. He said he's owned the land for 19 years and he's never <br />had a problem with water. He also stated that when DNR measured, one side of the pond was <br />different from the other. He stated that a drainage ditch has been put in. He requested assistance <br />from the City Council as to what can be done with his property so it can be developed. He <br />mentioned that he had gotten some information from Councilmember Peterson regarding the name <br />of the State Senator and the State Representative. <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann suggested Mr. Hanus meet with City Engineer Steve Jankowski and he would be <br />able to assist him with what needs to be done to get his project moving again. <br /> <br />Doug Fountain, 15255 Garnet Street N.W., Ramsey - was present to state that his neighbor's <br />brush pile still has not been chipped (it is their brush pile together) and to also restate that the <br />request to have the pile chipped was indeed turned in last spring. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to approve the <br />agenda as submitted. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
