Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #8: Adopt Ordinance to Amend Preliminary and Final Plat Time Frames <br /> for Subdivisions. <br /> <br />City Attorney Bill Goodrich stated that the proposed ordinance to amend platting time frames is <br />included in the agenda for the Council's review. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Cich to adopt Ordinance g90- <br />24 amending platting time frames. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Cich, Pearson and <br />Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case g9: Adopt Ordinance Establishing Site Plan Time Frames <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich stated that City Council introduced an ordinance to require developers to <br />sign site plan development permits within 120 days of site plan approval. He stated that signing <br />the permit does not obligate the developer in any and site plan approvals could extend years before <br />the actual construction is initiated. He commented that the proposed development could be in non- <br />conformance by the time it is developed. Therefore, Staff has amended the proposed ordinance to <br />require developers to complete the construction improvements within 12 months of site plan <br />approval. Provisions were also placed in the ordinance for extensions to the 12 month time frame. <br /> <br />The amendment language was reviewed and Councilmember DeLuca questioned the phrase <br />"applicable performance conditions" stating that he felt it should be more specific and suggested the <br />use of the word zoning instead of applicable. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to adopt Ordinance <br />~90-25 establishing time frames for site plans. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Peterson, DeLuca, Cich and <br />Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />Councilmember DeLuca suggested that the cases for the December 26th Council meeting be kept to <br />a minimal amount so the time can be used to wrap up all 1990 projects. <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann suggested that possibly the date could be rescheduled for a date before Christmas. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to schedule the <br />December 26th meeting for December 18th at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson, Cich and <br />Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Councilmember Peterson stated he talked with City Administrator Hartley regarding setting a date <br />for an Employee Appreciation Day for City Staff. He stated he had discussed financing the event <br />with Councilmember Cich and they felt it would be best funded by contributions from the <br /> <br />City Council/November 27, 1990 <br /> Page 8 of 9 <br /> <br /> <br />
