CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, December 18, 1990 at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember Richard Cich <br />Councilmember Stephen F. DeLuca <br />Councilmember Alan Pearson <br />Councilmember Kenneth Peterson <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator David Hartley <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />Merland Otto, Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />Finance Officer S andra Ashley <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann called the regular City Council meeting to order at 7:10 p.m. and led in the Pledge <br />of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Thomas Williams, 5180 - 157th Lane N.W. - asked to add an item to the agenda to discuss <br />renaming that portion of River's Bend Park designated for use by handicapped people to the David <br />R. Hartley Park. He also presented a petition of 130 signatures in favor of that request to <br />recognize Mr. Hartley's interest in serving the needs of all citizens in Ramsey, including the <br />handicapped. There will be a pier there in the future, which they also wish to have named for Mr. <br />Hartley. The City Council agreed to add the item as Case #7. <br /> <br />Sharon Dahlgren, 6328 - 143rd Lane N.W. - stated several residents from Hunter's Hill are <br />present regarding Case #3, the conditional use permit for Aluminum Recycling, Inc. She asked <br />that they be allowed to make comments when that item is discussed. City Council agreed. <br /> <br />Dick Church, 69100 - 168th Avenue N.W. - asked about City Code relative to who is responsible <br />for maintenance and upkeep on the boulevards. Mr. Hartley suggested Mr. Church contact him <br />Thursday morning to review the ordinances. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />It was agreed to add the following items to the agenda: <br /> <br />Consent Agenda: <br /> 16. Resolution Granting an Extension to the Filing of the Final Plat Time Frame for <br /> Carr Addition Planned Unit Development <br /> 17. Resolution Granting an Extension to the Recording Time Frame for Fox Ridge <br /> Estates PUD <br /> 18. Receive Petition for City Water and Sewer Extension/Daniel Karst, Jr., 14050 <br /> Basalt Street N.W. <br /> <br />City Council/December 18, 1990 <br /> Page 3 of 13 <br /> <br /> <br />
