It is possible for Staff to include a line item in RFPs requiring the removal of oil -water separator <br />tanks. However, doing so would likely inflate all proposals. In the event such a tank did not exist, the City would <br />end up paying a premium. <br />Summary/Conclusion <br />Adding together the partial payment for the original contract (.9*23,500=$21,150) plus the cost of change order <br />number one ($2,400), Staff is asking the Council for approval of a $23,350 payment. The remaining <br />$2,350 due (.1*$23,500) will be paid to the contractor this spring, after proof of established turf is made. See <br />attached summary sheet. <br />Funding Source: <br />Initially EDA fund.
