Personnel Committee 4. 3. <br />Meeting Date: 02/12/2013 <br />By: Colleen Lasher, Administrative Services <br />Title: <br />Discussion Regarding 2013 Union Contract Negotiations for AFSCME, LELS-Patrol and LELS-Sergeants <br />(Discussion Closed to the Public) <br />Background: <br />Per Minnesota Statutes 13D.03, at the February 5, 2013 City Council work session, a closed session was held to <br />discuss a labor negotiations strategy for the City's three contracts. The City Council discussed a negotiations <br />strategy for wages and health insurance; however, it was the consensus of the City Council to defer the remaining <br />contract items to the Personnel Committee. <br />Per Minnesota Statutes 13D.03, staff is requesting the Personnel Committee to go into a closed session to discuss a <br />labor negotiations strategy for the remaining contract items.
