Council Business <br />Mayor Ramsey called the regular City Council meeting back to order at 7:16 p.m. <br />Councilmember Wise stated as long as Diamond Graphics agreed that the City should send a <br />letter to their customers/supplier, he was not against the proposal. <br />Councilmember Backus stated he would rather change the whole road. <br />Mayor Ramsey stated he was not opposed to this. <br />Associate Planner Gladhill stated if the Council was recommending a name change for the road, <br />he stated staff would like the opportunity to discuss names, renotice the public hearing, and bring <br />this back. <br />Councilmember Jeffrey stated he was not opposed to this, but it was a short stretch of road and <br />he would like to have one name for this road. <br />Associate Planner Gladhill recommended this case be tabled for staff research on a street name <br />and to contact the rest of the property owners for their feedback. <br />Councilmember Elvig requested staff reach out to the EDA also. <br />Motion by Mayor Ramsey, seconded by Councilmember Jeffrey, to table indefinitely. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Jeffrey, Backous, Elvig, <br />McGlone, Tossey, and Wise. Voting No: None. <br />7. COUNCIL BUSINESS <br />7.01: Request for a Conditional Use Permit to Exceed the Amount of Square Footage <br />Allowed for Accessory Structures Located at 8150 - 144th Avenue NW; Case of Leon <br />Richter <br />Associate Planner Gladhill reviewed the staff report. <br />Councilmember Wise stated it appeared there was a lot of screening of trees. He stated he liked <br />this proposal. <br />Leon Richter, 8150 - 144th Avenue NW, stated he was present for any questions. He stated he <br />was 1,052 over. <br />Motion by Mayor Ramsey, seconded by Councilmember Wise, to adopt Resolution #11-01-023 <br />adopting Findings of Fact #0882 related to the request for a conditional use permit for oversizing <br />of accessory structures and adopt Resolution #11-01-024 providing the conditional use permit for <br />oversizing of accessory structures, based on the Findings of Fact. <br />City Council / January 11, 2011 <br />Page 6 of 9 <br />
