CASE #1: <br /> <br /> REQUEST FOR A VARIANCE <br />FROM FRONT YARD SETBACK REQUIREMENTS; <br />CASE OF DOROTHY SCHLEPER AND THE CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> By: Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />As you know, the City of Ramsey is in the process of extending 153rd Avenue N.W. from County <br />Road #5 to County Road #56 as an MSA route. Dorothy Schleper owns land that is necessary for <br />the project right-of-way. The acquisition of the necessary right-of-way will require relocation of <br />the Schleper home on the property. The dwelling relocation plans include fronting the home on <br />153rd and to do so, will require a 10 foot variance from the required 40 foot front yard setback <br />requirement. <br /> <br />The following items are enclosed for your information: <br /> <br />a) Site location map <br />b) Site plan <br />c) Proposed Findings of Fact <br />d) Proposed Variance <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />On October 15, 1990, the City of Ramsey, represented by City Engineer Jankowski, and Dorothy <br />Schleper submitted an application for a variance from front yard setback requirements to facilitate <br />right-of-way acquisition for the extension of 153rd Avenue N.W. <br /> <br />A public hearing by the Board of Adjustment was scheduled for November 7, 1990. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Board Action: <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Adopt Findings of Fact __ relating fo-Dorothy Schleper's request for a variance from <br />front yard setback requirements. <br /> <br />-and- <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Approve/deny Dorothy Schleper's request for a variance from front yard setback <br />requirements on the property generally known as 15505 Ramsey Blvd. N.W. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />City Administrator Chief of Police <br />City Attorney X.
