Mr. Raatikka replied that the plans and specs will provide detail on fzre hydrants. <br /> <br />Keith Keifer - Stated that the feasibility report discusses a 2% grade down to the road and <br />inquired if the road level is going to be lowered. <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka stated that the plans are to drop the intersection about 2 feet. <br /> <br />Keith Keifer - Stated that the project includes curbing and skirting for some of the homes <br />and inquired if it isn't customary to provide skirting for all of thc residents regardless of <br />whether they have asphalt, cement or dirt driveways? <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka replied that it has been the City's policy to put back whatever was taken out. <br /> <br />Keith Keifer - Inquired as to what is being planned as far as an access for homeowners <br />during the construction period. <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka stated that the details of access during construction have not been worked out <br />3'et but the residents would be notified of that plan. <br /> <br />Keith Keifer - Inquired as to how long the road will be tom up. <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka stated that the street will probably be disrupted for 2-3 weeks. <br /> <br />Glen Aufderhar - 6315 Rivlyn Avenue N.W. - Inquired as to the diameter of the cul-de- <br />sac. <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka stated that the cul-de-sac diameter will be 60 feet. <br /> <br />Glen Aufderhar - Stated that from the plans, it appears the cul-de-sac will come a few feet <br />from his garage; the cul-de-sac will have to be realigned to the south. <br /> <br />Mr. Raat' -flcka stated that the cul-de-sac alignment will be determined when the City surveys <br />for the final plans. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to adjourn <br />the public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Pearson and Peterson. <br />Voting No: None.
