CITY COUNCIL <br /> PUBLIC HEARING <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a public hearing on Tuesday, March 27, 1990 at <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota regarding <br />proposed Improvement Project ~90-10 (Baugh Street). <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gar5, Reimann <br />Councilmember Richard Cich <br />Councilmember Stephen F. DeLuca <br />Councilmember Kenneth Peterson <br />Councilmember Alan Pearson <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator David Hartley <br />City Engineer Peter Raatikka <br />Finance Officer Sandra Ashley <br />Community Development Director Mark Banwan <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann called the public hearing to order at 7:28 p.m. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br /> <br />Peter Raafikka stated that the improvement project would upgrade Baugh Street between 169th <br />Avenue N.W. and 173rd Avenue N.W. The estimated project cost is $37,050; 14 units are <br />proposed to be assessed; the per unit assessment is estimated at $2,646.43 or $412.32 per year <br />amortized over a 10 year period. Following the public heating and a 60 da3' waiting period, <br />Council can order plans and specs; construction could begin in August; assessment hearings <br />would be held in September and the first payments would be due with the real estate taxes in <br />May of t991. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to adjourn the <br />public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
