STAR CITY PROGRAM <br />by James Gromberg, Project Manager <br /> <br />CASE #2 <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The attachment is the proposed Five Year Plan and One Year Action Plan for the City of <br />Ramsey. The One Year Action Plan and the Five Year Plan are needed for the City of <br />Ramsey to become certified as a Star City. <br /> <br />A five-year plan, is planning for the long run. The objective was to select realistic goals <br />that fit the community and the local capacity to accomplish the goals. In-order to come <br />up with the five-year plan, the first objective was to identify the assets and the <br />liabilities of the City. The beginning of the document is the information that was <br />gathered to achieve the assets and the liabilities of the City. <br /> <br />The One-Year Action Plan includes objectives that are clearly stated and quantified, and <br />assigned responsibilities for completion by specific dates. This is the road map for the <br />community group and local government to follow for the year.
