<br />Mr. Gromberg told Commissioner Fults that they could not dictate zoning. Zoning has <br />traditionally been kept at the local level, although genemlly cities cooperate with one another. Mr. <br />Gromberg also informed the Commission that Ramsey's zoning ordinances will be closely <br />scrutinized because of pending legal cases. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Muller and seconded by Commissioner Vevea to recommend to the <br />Planning and Zoning Commission for the area West of Sunfish Lake Boulevard and East of <br />Ramsey Boulevard and South of County Road #116 and North of the Burlington 1\orthern <br />Railroad tracks to remain as I-I Industrial District and to recommend Light Industrial zoning for the <br />area East of Sunfish Lake Boulevard to the boundary line with the City of Anoka and South of <br />County Road #116 and North of the Burlington Northern Railroad tracks. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Wagner, Commissioners Fults, Hardin, Muller, Nelson, <br />Vevea and Zillinger. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Gorecki and Greenberg. <br /> <br />ST AFF INPUT <br /> <br />There have been septic system failures for a number of properties along Highway #10 N.W. The <br />City has requested that these property owners petition for city sewer and water. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Fults and seconded by Commissioner Hardin to adjourn the regular <br />meeting of the Economic Development Commission. <br /> <br />~ Motion carried.
