COMMISSION INPUT <br /> <br />Commissioner Roselle inquired about the minutes of the joint City Council and Park and <br />Recreation Commission meeting. The minutes did not reflect the summary of conclusions reached <br />at the joint meeting. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Roselle and duly seconded by Commissioner Shumway to amend the <br />minutes of the joint City Council and Park and Recreation Commission meeting dated November <br />9, 1989 as follows: <br /> <br />The conclusions reached by those present were that: <br /> <br />1) <br />2) <br />3) <br />4) <br /> <br />5) <br />6) <br /> <br />The concept of a trail system is a good one. <br />That land be banked for the proposed trail system. <br />Acquiring land to complete one (1) small trail loop. <br />Begin plans to develop the ("Horse Portion") of the trail based on a Commission report that <br />it would be the most economically feasible. <br />At some time in the future other financing options would need to be explored. <br />The City Council and Park and Recreation Commission would reconvene in February 1990 <br />in a joint session to review prowess. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Hetland, Commissioners Roselle, Shumway, Prall, <br />Rustad, Lokker and Johnson. Voting No: None. Absent: None. <br /> <br />Commissioner Hetland requested a staff direction to City Attorney Bill Goodrich to examine the <br />legalities of acquiring an interest into two particular properties to complete a portion of the trail <br />system. The P.I.N.'s are 20-32-25-11-0003 and 17-32-25-43-0027. <br /> <br />ADJOURN <br /> <br />Motion by Chairman Hetland and duly seconded by Commissioner Roselle to adjourn the regular <br />meeting of the Park and Recreation Commission. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Hetland, Commissioners Roselle, Shumway, Prall, <br />Rustad, Lokker and Johnson. Voting No: None.
