Mr. Hartley replied that the City public the notice that the Environmental Assessment <br />Worksheet (EAW) was complete and available for review; the public hearing was <br />conducted on the EAW. Mr. Hartley also noted that the City is not required to conduct <br />public hearings on road alignment selection but in this case did conduct 2 informational <br />meetings. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cich and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to adopt <br />Resolution #89-12-349 authorizing the City Attorney to acquire the right-of-way for <br />Improvement Project #89-4 (153rd Avenue N.W.) by direct negotiation or eminent <br />domain. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson and <br />Cich. Voting No: None. Abstain: CouncilmemberPeterson. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson and seconded by Councilmember Cich to adopt <br />Resolution #89-12-350 authorizing the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications <br />for Improvement Project #89-4 (153rd Avenue N.W.). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson and <br />Cich. Voting No: None. Abstain: CouncilmemberPeterson. <br /> <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />a) Maintenance of Puma Street <br /> <br />Councilmember Pearson noted that there is an elderly couple residing on Puma Street that <br />are not in the best of health and that the Public Works Department should make sure that <br />street is kept accessible to emergency vehicles this winter. <br /> <br />b) Scheduling of City Council 1990 Organizational Meeting <br /> <br />The consensus of the City Council was to schedule it's 1990 organizational meeting for <br />6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 3, 1990. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cich and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to adjourn the <br />regular City Council meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Peterson, Pearson, Cich <br />and DeLuca.
