Further Discussion: Councilmember Peterson inquired as to what happens to Peter <br />Raatikka's appointment once the Ci~:y has it's own engineer on staff. Mr. Hartlev stated <br />that City Council will have to adopt a new resolution appoint the staff person as the City <br />Engineer. Councilmember Cich noted that the new staff engineer will need assistance from <br />Hakanson Anderson. Mr. Hartley stated that the City Council could appoint Hakanson <br />Anderson as the consulting engineering firm. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson, Cich <br />and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson and seconded by Councilmembcr Cich to appoint Dr. <br />Ronald Jankowski of the Ramsey Medical Center as the City's Health Officer. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson, Cich <br />and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to appoint <br />Bernard Steffen of Steffen and Munstenteiger as the City's AFSCME Labor Negotiator. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson, Cich <br />and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson and seconded by Councilmember Cich to appoint <br />Karen Olsen of Labor Relations Associates, Inc. as the City's LELS Labor Negotiator. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson, Cich <br />and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to appoint <br />David Hanley as the Primary Delegate to the Association of Metropolitan Municipalities. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson, Cich <br />and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cich and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to appoint <br />Mayor Gary Reimann as the Alternate Delegate to the Association of Metropolitan <br />Municipalities. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson, Cich <br />and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cich and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to appoint David <br />Hartley as the Le~slative Contact for the Association of Metropolitan Municipalities. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
