COMMISSION INPUT

Commissioner Deemer referred to the City's recent action to reduce the required street right-of-way
width on minor streets to 60 feet. Commissioner Deemer noted that other cities that require only
60 feet are also requiring the installation of sidewalks and Ramsey should be giving consideration
to the same.

Commissioner Deemer stated that he would also like to see the City give some consideration to
requiting the grouping of mailboxes in urban subdivisions.

ADJOURNMENT

Motion by Commissioner LaDue and seconded by Commissioner Bawden to adjourn the regular
meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission.

Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Thorud, Deemer, Bawden
and LaDue. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Hendriksen and Terry.

The regular meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission adjourned at 10:30 p.m.

Respectfully submitted,

Sylvia Frolik
Acting Community Development Director

Planning and Zoning Commission / August 7, 1990
Page 9 of 9
