City Staff will <br />inspect the facilities the next business day after completion of the tournament. <br /> <br />No motorized vehicles or machines are allowed upon a City Park unless a permit <br />has been approved and issued by the Superintendent of Parks and so displayed on <br />the vehicle(s) in clear sight of the Police Department. All other vehicles must park <br />in designated areas or roadways where permitted. Parking violation fines may be <br />issued by the Police Department if this policy is disregarded. <br /> <br />The Park Department reserves the right to regulate and control the size of the group <br />or organization using the park facility. Also, if it is deemed necessary and within <br />the best interest of the City, the City may require additional insurance certificates. <br /> <br />The Sponsor of the tournament shall sign a statement accepting responsibility for <br />operating the tournament in accordance with these policies and be financially <br />responsible for guaranteeing payment of any and all expenses for said tournament <br />including required deposits and user fees as well as i~ddifional cost~ for ,services and <br />supplies provided by the City; licensing fees; and payment of damages, in full, <br />resulting from theft or vandalism to any equipment or facilities used during the <br />rental period. <br /> <br />The Park Department reserves the right to close a tournament with forfeit of all <br />monies at the time if any of the set policies are not adhered to or if any problems <br />occur in the areas of fighting, extensive abusive language, or harassment of area <br />residents. <br /> <br />No games will start before 8:00 a.m. on any day of the tournament. Failure to <br />comply with this will constitute grounds for tournament forfeiture. All lights will <br />be off at 10:00 p.m. unless permission has been granted by the Park or Police <br />Department (this only in an emergency). <br /> <br />The City will order additional portable toilets and service of them at the sponsor's <br />expense, if it is deemed necessary by the Park Department. <br /> <br />All ~sag¢ fees must be paid within one (1) week after approval by the Park <br />Department, <br /> <br />The City reserves the right to deviate from this policy if it is recommended by the <br />Park Department to be in the City's best interest to consider other financial <br />arrangements. <br /> <br />If it is requested that the City provide maintenance services before or during the <br />course of a tournament, those City employees will be paid at their regular hourly <br />rate, plus 1/2 time. The rate will be 1.2 times the overtime rate of pay for any <br />services not during the employee's regularly scheduled hours. These services will <br />be provided based on employee availability and at the sole discretion of the Park <br />Department. The sponsor(s) will reimburse the City for the total labor cost plus <br />equipment fees (if any) immediately following the tournament. <br /> <br />All rakes, shovels, brooms, hoses and nozzles must be provided by the sponsor <br />group. No vehicles will be allowed to drag field. <br /> <br />The fees for tournament: <br /> <br />Use of a field per day = $100.00 <br /> <br />The City cannot guarantee that a pavilion, building, or shelter will be available to <br />the sponsor.
