<br />Councilmember LeTourneau introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #13-02-037 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REGARDING A LEAVE OF ABSENCE <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> , the City has a Leave of Absence policy that gives the City Council the <br />authority to grant up to 1-year leave time ;and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> an employee is approaching the 1-year mark; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> the Personnel Committee recommended approving an additional leave of <br />absence through May 31, 2013. <br /> <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, <br /> <br />1. Confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to do the following: <br /> <br />2. Motion to approve resolution # 13-02-037 to authorize an additional leave of absence <br />through May 31, 2013; the maximum amount of leave time allowed per the City’s Leave <br />of Absence policy. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Kuzma, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Strommen <br /> Councilmember LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Elvig <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Tossey <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> Councilmember Backous <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
