<br />Councilmember Riley introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #13-02-040 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT TO SAUTER & SONS, INC <br />NORDVICK PROPERTY DEMOLITION, 8020 147 AVE NW <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br /> on September 11, 2012 the Ramsey City Council accepted a scope of work <br />and authorized the solicitation of proposals; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />Sauter & Sons, INC. is the lowest responsible bidder and was awarded a <br />contract for services on October 15, 2013, at a price of $23,500; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br /> as of February 8, 2013, Sauter & Sons, INC has not established turf on <br />project site as agreed in the original contract; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br /> City Management Analyst recommends partial payment of the original <br />contract in the amount of $21,150; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br /> as of February 5, 2013, Sauter & Sons, INC submitted a change order <br />number one (1) in the amount of $2,400 for the removal of an oil-water separator tank; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br /> City Management Analyst recommends full payment of change order <br />number one (1) in the amount of $2,400; and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Sauter & Sons, INC. for the <br />th <br /> Nordvick Property Demolition; 8020 147 Avenue Northwest, Ramsey, MN 55303 in the <br /> amount of $23,550. <br /> <br />2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City <br /> Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br /> <br />3) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this <br /> resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />LeTourneau, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Strommen <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Backous <br /> Councilmember Elvig <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Tossey <br /> <br /> <br />
