January 9, 1990
Mr. Mark S. Banwart
Page 3

p,E C.E 'EB

J hN 1 0 1990
............

EST~IATED COSTS:

1} On one of our plats, that is prepared and staked by us, we feel such a survey
would cost about $300 to $400 or so. This is assuming that we are talking about
sewered lots on the appropriate sized lots.

2) On someone else's plat, also being sewered, the cost would probably double.

3) On acreage parcels, surveyed by us, and assuming that we must provide this
information on the entire parcel, we feel such costs would be about $600 to $900 or
SO,

4) On acreage parcels by others, and assuming information on the entire parcel, we
feel such costs wouldbe probably double also.

5) Ail such estimates are general and must be individually estimated for a more
specific estimate.

We hope this helps. We also feel that the building officials should have, and use, a
wide degree of discretion to avoid always requiring information that may be
superfluous and thus an unneeded expense to the buyer.

If you have any questions or comment, let us know. Again thank you for the opportunity
to critique these proposed regulations.

JOHN _QLIVER & ASSOCIATES, INC.
