'~.S__B]~[]_!~ An As-Built drawing shall be provided to the City shc~lng <br />the location of the conductors between the breaker cabinet and the pole <br />or poles; these drawings shall be provided to the City by the contractor <br />prlor to the Clt~/ accepting the street lights. <br /> <br />~ All conductors, suitable for direct burlal, will be type USE, <br />copper cable with ground. <br /> <br />6. Grounding: <br /> <br />At the breaker cabinet and at the end of each dlstrlbutlon clrcult <br />there must be Installed a driven ground as required by National <br />Electric Code Article 1250-84. <br /> <br />B. Any dlstrlbutlon clrcult over 300 feet In length must have a driven <br /> ground rod at midpoint. <br /> <br />C. Ground wlre must be Insulated wlre sultable for direct burlal. <br /> <br />Ae <br /> <br />For 120 volt circuits all conductors will be brought up the pole <br />and connectlons will be made at the fixture, The ground wlre will be <br />connected to the grounding lug If provided. If there Is no grounding <br />lug, the fixture shall be grounded to the mast arm. <br /> <br />Be <br /> <br />Where more than one light Is In line, a splice will be made above <br />grade in the Junction box. Junction box shall be placed on the pole <br />approximately 1' above ground level. Splicing shall be done In the <br />junc~rion box and a In-the-line fuse shall be Installed. <br /> <br />8. Photo Controlt Photo control is to be faced as nearly north as practlcal. <br /> <br />g. ~ One-shot, loop-type locks are to be placed at each feed polnt by <br /> the electrical contractor. <br /> <br />10. ComDletlon: When street Ilghtlng is completed by the Contractor, he shall <br /> contact the Electrical Inspector for inspection (Eugene Boyle, 755-1499 <br /> The electrical contractor shall forward approved copy (blue) of electrical <br /> Inspection to the Clty of Anoka or NSP. The City of Anoka or NSP shall <br /> energlze the lights and notify the City of addresses and date energized. <br /> Final a~ceptance is not made until As-Bullts and 5 blue-line copies <br /> have been submitted to the Clty Engineer by the Contractor. <br /> <br /> <br />
