'~.S__B]~[]_!~ An As-Built drawing shall be provided to the City shc~lng the location of the conductors between the breaker cabinet and the pole or poles; these drawings shall be provided to the City by the contractor prlor to the Clt~/ accepting the street lights. ~ All conductors, suitable for direct burlal, will be type USE, copper cable with ground. 6. Grounding: At the breaker cabinet and at the end of each dlstrlbutlon clrcult there must be Installed a driven ground as required by National Electric Code Article 1250-84. B. Any dlstrlbutlon clrcult over 300 feet In length must have a driven ground rod at midpoint. C. Ground wlre must be Insulated wlre sultable for direct burlal. Ae For 120 volt circuits all conductors will be brought up the pole and connectlons will be made at the fixture, The ground wlre will be connected to the grounding lug If provided. If there Is no grounding lug, the fixture shall be grounded to the mast arm. Be Where more than one light Is In line, a splice will be made above grade in the Junction box. Junction box shall be placed on the pole approximately 1' above ground level. Splicing shall be done In the junc~rion box and a In-the-line fuse shall be Installed. 8. Photo Controlt Photo control is to be faced as nearly north as practlcal. g. ~ One-shot, loop-type locks are to be placed at each feed polnt by the electrical contractor. 10. ComDletlon: When street Ilghtlng is completed by the Contractor, he shall contact the Electrical Inspector for inspection (Eugene Boyle, 755-1499 The electrical contractor shall forward approved copy (blue) of electrical Inspection to the Clty of Anoka or NSP. The City of Anoka or NSP shall energlze the lights and notify the City of addresses and date energized. Final a~ceptance is not made until As-Bullts and 5 blue-line copies have been submitted to the Clty Engineer by the Contractor.
