MAYOR AND COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />a) Graves Versus City of Ramsey Lawsuit <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich reported that the Graves' are claiming damage to personal property during <br />Front Street improvements and have filed a lawsuit against the City of Ramsey and <br />appropriate contractors. <br /> <br />b) Rum River Clean-Up <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley was directed to check with Commissioner Haas-Steffen on plans for a Rum <br />River clean up day this 3, ear in conjunction with the Adopt A River program, <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley also suggested that consideration be given to planning the clean up day around <br />a canoe trip and picnic. <br /> <br />c) 25th Anniversary Of Anoka Ramsey Community College <br /> <br />City Council directed City Staff to draft a resolution in recognition of the 25th anniversary <br />of the Anoka Ramsey Conmmnity College. <br /> <br />d) Recycling Pro.am In Burns <br /> <br />Councilmember C/ch stated that he recently viewed the recycling and yard waste compost <br />pro.am in Bums and was veu, impressed. Councilmember Cich suggested that City Staff <br />also review the pro.am in Burns when considering proposals for city-wide recycling <br />efforts in Ramsey. <br /> <br />e) Recognition Of Repairs To Senior Citizens Room At Ramsey Municipal Center <br /> <br />Councilmember Pearson directed City Staff to send a letter of appreciation to the members <br />of the Victorious Jesus Church that volunteered their time to make some repairs to the <br />Senior Citizens meeting room. <br /> <br />1990 Ramsey Expo <br /> <br />Councilmember DeLuca noted that the I990 Ramsey Expo is scheduled for March.4, <br />Councilmember DeLuca noted that at the Anoka Chamber of Commerce Expo, the highest <br />points of interest at the Ramsey booth was the airport and the Mississippi River bridge <br />crossing. <br /> <br />g) Mississippi River Bridge Crossing <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann directed City Administrator Hartley to schedule a joint meeting with the <br />cities of Champlin and Da.vton to discuss the Mississippi River bridge crossing <br /> <br />City Council/Februau, 26, 1990 <br /> Page 12 of 13 <br /> <br /> <br />
