CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, March 13, 1990 at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Kenneth Peterson <br />Councilmember Stephen F. DeLuca <br />Councilmember Richard Cich <br />Councilmember Alan Pearson <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator David Hartley <br />City Engineer Peter Raatikka <br />Finance Officer Sandra Ashley <br />Community Development Director Mark Banwart <br />City Attorney William Goodrich (arrived 7:55 p.m.) <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Peterson called the regular City Council meeting to order at 7:35 p.m. and <br />led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Douglas Fountain - 15255 Garnet Street N.W. - Inquired as to the procedure to be used in <br />availing himself of the 'up to $500' to hire his own appraisal of his property as it relates to <br />acquisition of easements for the extension of 153rd Avenue N.W. <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka replied that the opportunity for a property owner to receive up to $500 for <br />their own property appraisal becomes available after the City has made it's offer. <br /> <br />Douglas Fountain - Inquired as to when the City will be making it's offers. <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka replied that the City is currently in the process of contacting property owners <br />to make offers. <br /> <br />Refer to page 1 ! for further discussion. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson and seconded by Councilmember Cich to approve the <br />agenda with the following adjustments: <br /> <br />Add: Case//12: <br /> <br />Adoption of resolution accepting the second year grant for the <br />bruschipping demonstration project. <br /> <br />Case#13: <br /> <br />Letter and proposed resolution from Anoka County regarding <br />Community Development Week. <br /> <br />City Council/March 13, 1990 <br /> Page 3 of 13 <br /> <br /> <br />
