CASE #7 <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR SKETCH PLAN REVIEW OF CEDAR ACRES ADDITION; <br />CASE OF GOOD VALUE HOMES AND ARADCO, INC. <br /> By: Mark S. Banwart, Community Development Director <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The proposed subdivision consists of 27 urban residential lots and 1 commercial lot on <br />approximately 11 acres of land. The existing zoning classification for this parcel is I- 1 Industrial <br />District. The City initiated rezoning of this area is being proposed as R-IU Urban Residential <br />District. The property is generally located on the North 360 feet of the Southwest Quarter of the <br />Southwest Quarter of Section 26, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota. The <br />P.I.N. is 26-32-25-33-0001. Peterson, Vice President of Development (March 14, 1990) <br />City Engineer's Review (March 27, 1990) <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />On March 15, 1990, the City of Ramsey received an application and sketch plan from Good Value <br />Homes, Inc. and ARADCO, Inc. <br /> <br />Since the proposed subdivision is located in an I-1 Industrial District, the site will require rezoning. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: <br /> <br />S taft recommends sketch plan approval of Cedar Acres Addition as per the City Engineer's review <br />dated March 27, 1990 and contingent upon appropriate rezoning. <br /> <br />Planning and Zoning Commission Action: <br /> <br />Motion to accept/not accept sketch plan for Cedar Acres Addition as per the City Engineer's review <br />dated March 27, 1990 and directing the developer to proceed to preliminary plat stage. <br /> <br />Park and Recreation Commission Action: <br /> <br />Motion to approve/not approve the park dedication requirement recommendation as per the City <br />Landscape Architect's review dated March 27, 1990. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br />City Attorney <br />City Engineer .
