I. Solid and Hazardous Waste This project is a Residential Development and will not generate any hazardous waste. The solid waste generated by the project is estimated to be 190 tons per year. This will be disposed of at the landfill or recycled. (EAW) Fish and Wildlife Wetland areas will be preserved. During construction, the wildlife habitat will be affected. After construction, wildlife habitat and animal movement will return to some degree. (Comments to EAW and EAW) Archeological and Historical Resources The proposed project has a relatively high probability of containing prehistoric archeological sites. Therefore, an archeological survey will be completed. (EAW and response from the Minnesota Historical Society). Parks and Special Resource Areas Construction of this project will not create any adverse impacts on parks or special resource area. As part of the project, a new 12.4 acre park will be created in conjunction with the developments of Chestnut Hills and Windemere Woods. (EAW) Roads and Traffic The proposed development is estimated to generate approximately a total of 920 to 1150 ADT. The proposed traffic will flow east and south through Windemere Woods to County Road No. 116 or west to Sunfish Lake Bouelvard by a proposed street south of Hunter's Hill development. The City is also proposing an east-west collector street between Sunfish Lake Blvd. and C.S.A.H. No. 5 which would be located north of this plat. This street will provide access to the north. Mn/DOT states that the impact on T.H.'s 10 and 47 would be only moderate. (EAW and comments from Mn/DOT) Utilities A new sewer line will be required to serve this and other proposed developments in the area. Adequate energy resources are available to construct and serve the project. Natural gas to the project will be provided by North Central Public Service and electricity to the project will be provided by Anoka Electric Cooperative. (EAW)
