REVIEW PRIORITY OF STREET LIGHT INSTALLATION
By: Mark S. Banwart, Community Development Director

Case #4

Background/Observations:

On May 1, 1990, the Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission reviewed a prioritized listing of
areas in need of street lighting prepared by the Ramsey Police Department. Through the
discussion, the Commissioners determined that they did not necessarily agree with the listing of
areas needing street lighting and the order of priority. Chairman Zimmerman suggested that any
action on the areas needing street lighting be tabled and in the mean time, the Commissioners
should review the list and be prepared to compile a revised list at the next Planning and Zoning
Commission meeting. For your information, the following item is enclosed:

A) Areas in Need of Lighting (prepared by the Ramsey Police Department)

Commission Action:

Based on discussion.

Review Checklist:

CiD' Administrator
City Attorney
City Engineer
Community Development Director

X
.X

Chief of Police
Finance Officer
Planning & Zoning Commission
Park & Recreation Commission

X
