Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to approve <br />the preliminary plat of Gateway North Industrial Park Plat 4 per the City Engineer's report <br />dated May 16, 1990 and contingent upon a drainage easement being provided along the <br />north boundary of Lot 3. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson and <br />Peterson. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Cich. <br /> <br />Case #12: <br /> <br />Request For Site Plan Approval For Manufacturing Building <br />And Site Development For Parabody (Don Greenberg); Case Of <br />Dennis L. Sharp: <br /> <br />Mr. Banwart stated that Dennis Sharp is proposing to construct a 60,000 square foot <br />building in Gateway North Industrial Park Plat 4 for Parabody, Inc. The Planning and <br />Zoning Commission reviewed the plan on May 15 and recommended approval of it. <br /> <br />Motion by Councitmember Pearson and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to approve <br />Dennis Sharp's site plan for the proposed Parabody, Inc. manufacturing facility per the <br />City Engineer's report dated May 16, 1990 and the Assistant County Engineer's report <br />dated May 16, 1990. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson and <br />Peterson. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Cich. <br /> <br />Case #13: Request For Tax Exempt Industrial Revenue Bonds (IDB); <br /> Case Of Dennis L. Sharp: <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley stated that Mr. Dennis Sharp is requesting the sale of Industrial Revenue <br />Bonds as one of the financing means for the proposed Parabody facility in Gateway North <br />Industrial Park Plat 4. The City's bond counsel has reviewed the documents prepared by <br />the applicant's bond counsel and finds no problem with the exception that there should be <br />provisions for the City to reserve the fight to withdraw approvals. Mr. Hartley then <br />explained the procedure for processing Industrial Revenue Bonds. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to adopt <br />Resolution 6'90-05-156 giving approval to Industrial Development Bond Project on behalf <br />of Ramsey Investments, calling for public hearing on issuance of revenue bonds and <br />authorizing submission of application for bond allocation. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Councilmember DeLuca inquired if the applicant was aware of the <br />costs he would be responsible for and Mr. Sharp replied that he was. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson and <br />Peterson. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Cich. <br /> <br />Case #14: <br /> <br />Request For Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Participation; Case <br />Of Donald Greenberg: <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley stated that the City has received application for Tax Increment Financing CI'IF) <br />participation in the 60,000 square foot facility proposed to be developed in Gateway North <br />Industrial Park Plat 4. Mr. Hartley noted that the request for TIF has been modified to <br />delete site preparation as the project is proceeding in order to meet occupancy deadlines. <br /> <br />City CounciL/May 22, 1990 <br />Page 21 of 27 <br /> <br /> <br />
