January through June, 1990 Recycling Reports. <br /> <br />22. <br /> <br />Resolution q~90-07-215 Approving Pay Estimate gl to Kadlec Excavating of Mora, Inc. for <br />Improvement Project g89-13 (Rivlyn Avenue N.W. and Tungsten Street N.W.) in the <br />amount of $55,305.28. <br /> <br />23. <br /> <br />Resolution 4t90-07-216 Approving Pay Estimate g4 to Annandale Contracting Inc. for <br />Improvement Project g87-27 and g89-14 (Juniper Woods Addition and Waco Street N.W. <br />in the amount of $18, 714.04) <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS: <br /> <br />Case gl: Address and Street Name Changes <br /> <br />It was the consensus of the City Council that the public safety and welfare aspect outweighs the <br />nuisance created in the process of correcting inconsistencies in address and street numbering <br />systems. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to endorse the <br />change of address listing as per "Attachment 1, Section A" to these minutes prepared by the <br />Building Official and dated July 17, 1990, effective 30 days from the date of this meeting. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: A resident on 147th Circle N.W. indicated that she has not heard a valid <br />reason for changing 147th Circle N.W. to 146th Circle N.W. John Tonding of 911 Central <br />Communications reviewed the City map and confirmed that, geographically, 147th Circle N.W. <br />should be called 146th Circle N.W. Mr. Hartley stated that the residents would be receiving letters <br />informing them of the agencies that the City would be notifying regarding the address changes, <br />some of which include the Anoka Post Office, 91I Central Communications, Anoka County <br />Recorder, Anoka County Assessor, Cable TV, School District, etc. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Peterson, Cich and <br />Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to endorse the <br />proposed address changes per "Attachment 1, Section C" and introduce Ordinance ~/90-X changing <br />the name of 147th Circle N.W. to 146th Circle N.W. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
