Th. ~xisting and planned aluminum ~weating furnaces are <br />heated with propane burner~. There id no fuel oil or natural <br />gas used. <br /> <br />EMISSION RATES <br /> <br /> The emission point at DAPI is itemized on ~orm B of <br />this application. Ths rum1 for the burner is only propane <br />and therefore contains no sulfur or lead. A baghouse outlet <br />(stack ID No.1) analy~is has not beep conducted bo de=ermine <br />the particulate loading and other emissions. <br /> <br /> W.W. Sly Mamufpcturing Co. claims a 9~.~% collection <br />efficiency to 0.5 m~crons of the particulate. Thus, a low- <br />outlet loading.would be expected for thiz facility. <br /> <br /> Mr. David Bell of the MPCA was .contacted for his <br />assistance in determining the potential emissions.
