This was near the area of H~ 10 in the 6600 block. P~ile over near the Flintwood Hills addition I could smell the same type of odor. I went to the industrial park area near Basalt St. I Observed the area to have a dense haze of snoke. I went to the above business and observed alot of smoke comin9 from the inside of the building and from the filter system outside. Also a roof went system had a_lot of smoke not steam craning from it also. The odor of a toxic smell u~s very strong and irritating. This was the same sm~!l that I noticed in the above other areas. I had Officer Gustmfson come to the location to observe this also. We checked around the open garage area of the building and checked inside from a distance. It v~s obviously a health hazard to go into the building and breath the smDke in. I went around the back and observed a smaller state truck/ and persons ~nloading scrap materials. I asked to speak to a worker of the business. I s.uoke to an employee and questioned him about the sm~ll and the odor of smoke. He said it must be some tar small. This employee named Bill Irving, I ex121ained to him that I knew the difference between and oil smell and 'this was neither of the two. He mentioned that some fiberglass must have burned. I explained with all this smoke there was ,no .v~y alittle fiberqlass could b,~rn all ~¢hat smoke. He finally stated he did not know what it was and seemed unsure of the operations of the business.
