The smoke was coming from an outside filter system and also from an area behind the building. I went to the business and could see the smoke emitting from the connecter area of the large tub~'i6to the filter system. I went inside and could see and smell smoke inside the building. I spoke to \ an employee Don Harper, I advised the reason I was here. He went outside and observed the smoke also. I advised they would have to fix the problem'or shut advised I was told by the owner that no smoke should be emitting from :hat system. We wnet inside as Don wanted the person in charge to check the situation out as well as I did also. A A1 Dvkstra ame out with me~ he advised he was in charge. I explained my findings and he to observed the smoke. ! advised this was not to be happening according to the owner. A1 said he was not sure how the system operated in that way. ! advised he best make contact x!th the ow-met or someone who did or the fire deot will be out as the smoke !id smell of some toxins. i cleared and responded to a call at MATE o~nch and die. k~hile on that call could see the smoke coming out of the filter area heavi!v. It was dusk and ~he backrotmd of the sunset made it very clear of the smoke. went to Fire Chief Hoeke~ residence and drove him back into the area of the · usiness.
